Lymphatic Treatments

What happens during my treatment?

After cleansing your feet with hot towels I will begin your massage with hot essential oils. The massage is extremely light, not a tickle but a flowing, light massage, The movements will be completely different to massages you have received before. A facial lymphatic treatment is very similar in light, slow movements but mainly concentrates on your sinuses and your thyroid gland, to help move along any blockages.

What are Lymphatic Treatments?

A lymphatic drainage treatment is a very gentle massage designed to move waste, toxins, excess water etc out of your tissues and back into your bloodstream.

Think of it as a manual reset to your body's plumbing.

What are the benefits?

The main benefit is to reduce puffiness and bloating. The massage will move trapped fluid towards your lymph nodes located all around your body.

The medical science is also a benefit as it can speed up recovery from certain medical operations i.e liposuction, c section recovery, orthopedics , fibrosis etc.

It can also boost your immune system if you are feeling a little on the poorly side with flu, sinusitis, body aches, sluggish etc.

Lastly as this is a light, slow and flowing treatment it is in my opinion the most relaxing massage i do and have had the pleasure experiencing. A must try.
